Genesis 27-28.9 – This is a story without a hero, at least a hero that is seen. Each character in the story is seeking blessing, but all of them seek blessing in their own ways. It is only when this family begins to seek blessing in the Lord that true blessing comes.

Genesis 22 – Unbelievably, God tells Abraham to kill his son Isaac and offer him as a burnt offering. What will Abraham do? Through Abraham and Isaac we learn invaluable lessons about faith and God’s grand plan to provide a substitute for sinners.
Leviticus 19 – Christians are to be characterised by holiness in in their relationships with those around them. Their holiness is to be marked by a right view of justice. Their lives are to be pure in all aspects. And their worship is to be only that which God has commanded.
Leviticus 16 – Holiness is a mindset. Christians are to have this mindset regarding sin: sin must be put to death.
Genesis 20-21 – God works in… surprising ways. It’s no less true in our lives than in Abraham’s. Let God’s Word and Abraham’s story prepare you live well in a surprise-filled world.
Psalm 101 – The What, How, and Why of the Christian Ideal.
